Harmony of zestful Japanese garden and Tatami Walk in Wakayama Castle
Wakayama is a prefecture famous for its rich natural product
such as mandarin orange, Kaki, peach, Umeboshi.
Wakayama castle is at the center of Wakayama, on
“Torafusu mountain”.
It was built under the order of Hideyoshi Toyotomi in 1585
by his brother Hidenaga.
After it was possessed by the house of Tokugawa, it has marked
its name in history with famous masters such as the 8th Shogun, Yoshimune.
Current castle tower was rebuilt in 1958.
Many things familiar to the house of Tokugawa are exhibited.
