The beauty of Japanese history and tradition Kyoto “Fushimi-Inari-Taisha”

“Fushimi-Inari-Taisha”
is
“the most popular sightseeing spot in Japan among foreigners”.
Mysterious scenery of
“thousand Torii” (red Torii continuing on the mountain)
is very famous and actual number of Torii is more than 10 thousands!

From the bottom, you can go up the mountain by passing under Torii.
The whole mountain is a holy place so there are various visiting spots and
you can visit anytime you want.

“Ochaya”
which is designated as important cultural property near the bottom is a zestful figure.
Though inside is private, it is said to be a precious remain of Japanese traditional architecture
with Tatami, Tokonoma and Fusuma.

“Sanshuden”
in Taisha is a ancient building.
You can eat here but also sleep here.
You can sleep in Tatami room and visit temple any time you want.
It’s a best location.

Interestingly, it has a curfew for staying visitors.
You can also heal your fatigue in big bath.

Though Fushimi-Inari-Taisha seems like elegant, the way to its top is actually hard.
