Nagoya city in Aichi is located on the center of Japan.
There is
“Nagoya-jo Castle”

The former owner was Ieyasu TOKUGAWA, who unified Japan and held power during Samurai period.

Nagoya-jo Castle is still able to visit and look the inside of the castle.
If you go the 7th floor, you are able to see the view of Nagoya.

A lot of foreign tourists visit here, and you will be provided a sightseeing guide in English.

Now
“Honmaru Palace”
in Nagoya-jo Castle, successive lords lived, is restoring.
But during the 2nd world war, it was vanished by an air raid.

Recently, it’s being restored at the total cost of 15 billion yen, and it’s opened for tourists
to look the inside.

At Honmaru Palace, there is a hall called
“Peacock room”.
The size of the room is about 40 tatamis, and it’s surely very large room.

Now, there is a plan to lend this “Peacock room” to general visitors.

Former lords lived this room, but this was restored in present, so it was supplied with air conditioners, lightings, power sources, and toilets.

If this lending plan comes true, it might be used for the wedding ceremony, parties, concerts,
and exhibitions.

You might have a chance to use this luxury room that former lords spent their time
like feeling to be the king of a country.
