A tatami material’s modern relax chair was developed.
This is a trial product born from a Japanese project named
“TATAMI TOMORROW”.
“TATAMI TOMORROW” is a different industry collaboration project that Japanese tatami shops, movie directors, commercial specialists, photographers, cosmetic brands like Shiseido attended.
Recently in Japan, demands of the tatami are reducing because life style is westernized.
This project is to spread charms of the tatami from new viewpoints to inside and outside of the nation.
The trial futuristic relax chair is named
“TATAMIRAI”
originated from
“tatami”
and
“mirai (future)”.
This idea is came from women in a cosmetic brand
“Shiseido”
that is popular both Japanese and foreigns.
The order one grows lively needs power charges.
Shiseido thinks that
“feelings of relax and fresh by the tatami are the best”
to recover from daily fatigue regularly and to charge energy for the future.
This relax chair “TATAMIRAI” carries sound system and relaxing ambient sounds will be sounded
when you lie down on it.
This is still trial so it can’t buy yet, but we should pay attention to a thought that
“feelings of relax and refresh by the tatami is the best to charge energy for tomorrow.”
If both Japanese and foreigns know more charms of the tatami, their life will be better.
