Summer festivals in Tokushima, Shikoku District have 400 years of history, and these are well known in the world.
Some of you might know
“Awa Dancing Festival”
that is to dance grandly and walk to the accompaniment of the shamisen and the drums.

Even in this year, it will be held for four days from 8/12 to 8/15.
More than 1,000,000 tourists visit to see the Awa Dancing Festival, and the Ohayashi (Japanese orchestra)
make spectaculars and dancers more excited.

Also Tokushima is famous for
“Naruto whirlpool”.
“Uzunomichi”
located in Naruto city, is the thrilled and popular Marine promenade that is able to see whirling waves
at four places with grassed floor that is 45 meters high.

We recommend to visit
“Oboke Iya hot spring village”
that is very mysterious mood by scattered hotels in a mountain village located in Oboke Koboke.
Recently, it’s popular as a
“mysterious lands of Japan”
and attracts many tourists from abroad as a tourist spot.

After enjoying rafting to be able to see bare rocks, that was designated as a national monument, and
“Biwa Falls”
to be able to see overwhelmed view by 50 meters high, you are able to be relaxed by the hot spring
and the large tatami floor.

If you lie down on the tatami, it’ll feel good and we’re sure that you’ll spend the best time.

There are luxury moments in silence and rich nature.
Tokushima has full of
“Japanese taste”
like hot springs, whirling waves, and Awa Dancing Festival.
