A popular tourist spot to feel Japan    Vol.5 Hot springs, Yuakari (bamboo illumination), and Sake-meguri (sake-shop hopping) Kurokawa-Onsen Hot Spring with Japanese taste

Kurokawa-Onsen Hot Spring in Kumamoto Prefecture is a hot spring place locates on an elevation of 700 meters
in the northern mountainous area of Mt. Aso.

Its snowing view is tasteful in the winter season, so that a lot of tourists visit here in spite of
it’s called an explored hot spring.

During this season, attractive winter events are held
it’s called
“Yuakari”
and
“Kurokawa-kappo”.

“Yuakari” is a Kurokawa bamboo’s illumination.
Warm bamboo lights appear in the cold winter air and it shows mysterious beauty.

“Kurokawa-kappo” is a unique event to drink sake.
It’s an entertainment to hop sake-shops like “Onsen-Hopping”.

When you purchase
“Kappo-Tegata (Sake-Hopping Pass)”
and get a bamboo cup, you can start Sake-Hopping!

You can enjoy three cups of sake snacks at registered inns and Izakaya (Japanese style bar)
in Kurokawa-Onsen Hot Spring.
For Kappo-Tegata, costs only ¥1,500, you may three cups of sake alone or may visit an Izakaya with three people.

Non-Alcohol drinks are also available if you wish.

If you become cold by strolling with Yukata, you can visit your accommodation and hot springs
that have full of Japanese taste.
You may choose it by
“Yukata”
“baths in the winter season”
or
“staffs”
the inn with detached rooms, tatami floored pure Japanese rooms
“Japanese-Western room”
that has both the tatami floored space and the space installed sleeping bed, and so on.
