Achi Village is a silent village locates in the southern part of Nagano Prefecture, and it takes 3 hours
of the car from Tokyo, or 1 hour and half from Nagoya.

On route 256, about 40km from the south to the north in Nagano Prefecture, there are 10,000 Hanamomo trees,

If you’re not comfortable to see them from a car only, we recommend you to stay at Hirugami Hot Spring Village

except around the rainy season in June and the autumn rainy season from the middle of September to October.

You’ll go to the top of a mountain, that has an evaluation of 1,400m, by a gondola.
Lights of towns can’t reach there, and also established lights are switched off at the time.

There are no artificial lights, and you’ll be impressed by the beautiful starlit sky in the darkness.
