There is an interesting name’s cherry tree “Matabei Cherry Tree” in Uda City in Nara Prefecture.
This is located on a former house of Matabei GOTO, who was a Japanese military commander, and the name of
the tree comes from his name.
The contrast of flowers by Matabei Cherry Tree and peach trees, stood behind it, is beautiful, so that
it’s called the most famous single cherry tree in Kansai area.
When it’s full bloomed, a lot of photographers and tourists visit here.
