In front of Mt. Fuji “Winter Fireworks” shined on Lake Kawaguchi, and relax in the hot spring
“Mt. Fuji” is the famous mountain in the world as the best mountain in Japan.
It locates from Shizuoka Prefecture to Yamanashi Prefecture, and its grand and cool looks with the beautiful white snow attract people very much.
In the base of Mt. Fuji, at the Yamanashi Prefecture site, there are five lakes and they called “Fuji Goko”.
In 2013, these five lakes are designated to the world heritage as the part of Mt. Fuji.
Fuji Goko is fulfilled by seasonal attractions, and there are a lot of view spots, so that a lot of tourists visit there through a year.
Lake Kawaguchi is a beautiful lake that is the lowest elevation among five lakes, and it takes only 2 hours for one way from the central Tokyo.
There are tasteful hot spring inns and tourist spots around there, and tour buses are running so that it is easy to visit without a car.
After enjoying Lake Kawaguchi during the daytime by seeing the beautiful view from a pleasure boat or a rental boat to go around the lake and visiting museums, you should see “Lake Kawaguchi Winter Fireworks” to decorate the lake by winter fireworks during the night!
Beautiful fireworks are shot off of the cleared winter night sky for thirteen times on Saturday and Sunday from 1/12 to 2/17 and 2/23, when is the day of Mt. Fuji.
There are three fireworks spots; you can see them in one place, or climb to the summit by the ropeway to see “marvelous view of fireworks”.
On the winter night sky, it is the marvelous view that fireworks in front of Mt. Fuji.
After sightseeing and seeing fireworks, your cold body should be warmed in the large hot spring to relax.
Around Lake Kawaguchi, there is an air bath hot spring in front of Mt. Fuji and Lake Kawaguchi, and its Japanese room with the soft light from the window and the warm tatami will be the comfortable healing space.
You can enjoy marvelous views of “Winter Fireworks” and Mt.Fuji.
In the cold and clear weather, it is good to spend around Lake Kawaguchi during the winter.
