Aomori Prefecture is in the northernmost part of the main island of Japan, and there is the world heritage Shirakami Mountains, a famous scenic spot Lake Towada, and Mt. Hakkoda.
It is known as the prefecture with the rich nature, and leading output of agriculture and fishing industry in Japan.
“Nebuta Festival” is held in August every year, and a lot of tourists from Japan and abroad.
It is a famous event that people are cheered up by powerful parade of brave Nebuta.
In Japan, it is one of the most famous festivals.
Inakadate Village is located in Tsuruga Plain, the central part of Aomori Prefecture.
Though it is a small village, that its population is less than 10,000 people, it can be the best tourist spot in Aomori during this season.
The view point of Inakadate Village is “Rice Field Art”.
In this rice field, a grand view shows that various beautiful pictures by seven types of rice plants.
It is able to watch this Rice Field Art in two places in the village; “The First Rice Field Art”, watching from the observatory in the village office where is like a castle, and “The Second Rice Field art”, watching from the observatory in “Inakadate Road Station” where is able to buy vegetables, fruits, and famous local apple juices.
Sometimes, numbered tickets are given because of congestion.
From the middle of July to the middle of August, just this season, rice plants are grown and pictures become more colorful, so that it can be the best season to watch.
