Kashihara City is located in the center part of Nara Prefecture.
It is a historic old city, written as “the place of the founding of Japan” in “Nihon-Shoki”, that is the oldest chronicles of Japan.

Emperor Jinmu, who was the first emperor in Japan, enthroned 2,600 years ago, and its place was “Kashihara-Jingu Shrine”, built by overcoming hardships beyond his imagination.
